Dr Schmidt is a highly respected member of both the prestigious Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry, where in 1993 he was awarded the acclaimed status of Fellow for successfully completing over 500 hours of post-graduate education. He was also one of the founding members of the Central Texas Chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry, dedicated to joining the world's top dental professionals, in Austin, for the educational benefit of local dentists.
Dr. Schmidt opened his booming dental practice back in1985 and has been enhancing the smiles and the lives of his patients ever since.
Dr. Schmidt was born and raised in Texas and is the oldest of three children. Today, he has five incredible children of his own with his wife, who also happens to be his high school sweetheart.
A true family man, Dr. Schmidt enjoys spending quality time with his wonderful family. When he's not entertaining his kids, you can find him soaring the skies in a Cessna aircraft, or cooking up a gourmet feast in the kitchen. Playing tennis, fishing, hiking and scuba diving are some of his other favorite interests.
